LORENZO ALBERTIN, NEW ARTIST AT THE CD STUDIO D'ARTE GALLERY

The body and the female face are the artist's favorite subjects, absolute emblems of expressiveness, beauty, fragility but at the same time also of strength.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Lorenzo Albertin was born in Este in the province of Padua on April 24, 1967. From an early age he developed a passion for figurative drawing, for years he reproduced figures taken from Superheroes comics, landscapes, female faces, and small sculptures.

As a self-taught he began the ink technique, charcoal, oil painting, and for over twenty years he has experimented with the use of the airbrush. With this technique he has been producing T-Shirts for some years, becoming "Art to Wear".

In parallel with the airbrush technique, he continued the study of drawing and the search for other better known methods such as watercolour, colored pencils and he refined the oil technique.

Many of the subjects he paints were inspired by the greatest current illustrators: Luis Rojo, Boris Vallejo, Sorayama, Olivia De Berardinis etc.

In an attempt to arouse sensations in the viewer with the subjects he paints, he uses the airbrush technique combined with the use of the brush.

TECHNIQUE:

Airbrush combined with the use of a brush on 1.4 mm smooth cardboard.
