Alessio-b, an Italian artist, proposes a street art that integrates images of children, hearts drawn on walls and iconic figures, transmitting messages of peace and love with a touch of irony.

Who is the Artist?

Born in Padua,Alessio-BHe is a self-taught artist who discovered his passion forstreet artduring a trip to Paris, inspired by Blek le Rat. The walls of the house were his first supports andKeith Haringhis first idol. Influenced by Pop Art, he reproduces myths of musicpopand rock. After graduating in architecture in Venice, he travels to England, Spain, Morocco, the Caribbean and Tanzania, gathering inspiration for his art as a street painter. His motto is“art is not a crime”.

Alessio-B decorates cities with images of children holding hands, drawing hearts on the walls and looking at the starry sky. Hisgraffitithey convey messages of peace and love.

Usevarious techniques: canvases painted with spray paint and stencils, images on plastered boards and sculptures covered with images taken from newspapers. One of his main techniques consists in using torn posters and newspaper pages, on which he intervenes with enamels, oil, acrylics and spray paint, lacquering everything to "vitrify" the work.

Since 2008 he has collaborated with CD Studio d'Arte and since 2013 he has participated in numerousnational and international exhibitions, including the 2013 Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art, Cut it Out in Berlin in 2015, the opening of the Urban Nation museum in Berlin in 2017, and the Paris Art Fair-Art Elisées. He has exhibited in France, England, Germany, the United States, and Korea.
