After a long wait, Super Walls 2021 has finally kicked off! Until 20 June there will be 39 artists (including 13 women) who will pour liters of color and lots of creativity on as many as 35 walls scattered between Padua, Abano Terme and other municipalities in the Paduan hinterland.
Originally from Padua, spending an abundant decade in Bologna, Shife is an all-round artist (he attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and is a Master of Art in Painting) and from a very young age he frequented the graffiti scene art Padovana and the EAD crew.
Her works they are distinguished by the originality of the surfaces , where acids and solvents interact with materials such as expanded polystyrene , creating bases that lend themselves to being colored with acrylics and enamels .

Among the favorite subjects there are pop icons And cartoons well established in the collective imagination . These are figures that pay homage to artists esteemed by the artist and characters from 80s manga, direct memories of his childhood: often these elements merge , coexisting within the same work talking without overlapping .
An example? The witches that appear in “ Improbable dialogues: the 3 witches ”: the Sorceress Magician from Disney, the Witch from Andy Warhol's card and a little manga witch.
