Collection: SHIFE VHRO

The origin of the name comes from its first tag "SHEAF" comes from English and means sheaf. The name then changed to Shife both for distortion in the pronunciation and for the preference of the artist who did not like the succession of the letters "E" and "A", replacing the "A" it was easier for him to insert a letter that at the time allowed to insert a puppet.

Shife VHRo was born in Padua in 1981. Since 1997 he has been actively interested in public art phenomena such as Graffiti and Streetart . Graduated first as Transport and Air Navigation Expert at the Aeronautical Technical Institute of Padua, he then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where he was a pupil of Maurizio Martelli (his assistant Luca Bendini ); in 2005 he obtained the Diploma of Master of Art in Painting.

His technique, which we can undoubtedly define as " mixed technique" , passes through the use of acids and solvents , such as nitro, applied via stencil to expanded polystyrene , thus obtaining the base which is then colored with acrylics and enamels. Subsequently, with the use of a handcrafted silk-screen matrix or a stencil, the image is reported, always with the use of acrylics and enamels.
